Waiting

Today we are waiting...
the bottom is finished

fuel pump fixed and repainted and
hopefully good as new
After ten days on the hard we hope to be back in the water this afternoon.  We had the fuel pump repaired, the boat bottom sanded and repainted and we buffed and waxed the hull ourselves.  Two of the salon cushions are sitting at the shop waiting to find a fabric match so we can have them recovered.

Saying that, it is nice to have the conveniences of a hotel for a while (although not the expense).  We have TV, wifi, cheap laundry, long hot showers and a big bed.

The sun is shining, the sky is blue, temperature in the mid 70's and I'm wearing shorts and flip flops.

About Us

Brian, Sally and Cricket the cat sailing on our 41 foot Morgan Classic sailboat. In October 2011 we sold our house, quit our jobs and set out for Florida in search of a sailboat. We found her in Madeira Beach Florida. A 1987 41 foot Morgan Classic. Our plan is to sail for a couple of years. First to the Bahamas, after that...who knows.
